Of those maps, are those island 'hot spots' for best potential only actually just a few that can be quickly learned or are there actually lots of good farming islands strewn about most these higher tier maps? Also, does this cause conflict between teammates often where you get two cruisers fighting for use of the same island 'MY SPOT!! F, OFF NOOB!!' ?įor me the skill requirement for each class is as follows (most to least): So is it fair to say that cruisers would have one of the higher skill requirements or at least, a very high knowledge of this games maps and island knowledge? I've been focusing on BB's since I decided to play PvP modes and if memory serves me correctly I didn't do all that great whenever I tried my hand at cruisers years ago.Ĭorrect me if I'm wrong but it would seem that in order to play cruisers meaningfully and to good effect, one must be very competent in map knowledge and positioning since the players I see doing well always seem to know exactly where to go and which islands offer the best cover yet also the best 'openings' to sling shells over at targets and farm damage?

I can see players do very well with them during battles but rose tinted glasses and all that. I was thinking of dipping my toe in the higher tier cruiser experience.
